Hi guys,

I just wanted to say thanks soooooooooo much for an awesome time. I had such a great time that I cried when we had to leave. Thank you Mrs. Karen- You were sooo nice and it was really nice to talk to you. The food was amazing and the cook was really nice ( sorry i didn't catch his name). To all the cowboys and their horses- Thank y'all so very much for taking us on those rides, the scenery was gorgeous and I love horses, so the two-a-day rides were great. Also, thank you especially for letting me help with the horses, brushing and tacking them up. That was really nice of y'all. Also, the rodeo and the dance at the Cabaret were a lot of fun. I'm glad we got to see those when we came. I had the most amazing time and i really cannot wait to come back. If any of y'all are ever in the Dallas area, give us a call. THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH!

Hey Karen and Terry!

We want to send a BIG Thank you your way from the Benke Family. I have heard so many positive things about the family reunion. In fact, some have said it was the best reunion we have ever had. A lot of it was due to you and your staff. The entertainment you had for us Thursday night was incredible. Could you tell me the name of that trick roper?

Ya'll were so accommodating and we appreciate everything you did for us. Tell Pete that the food was absolutely wonderful. Many in my family experienced things for the first time while at the ranch. Many had never been on a horse before. Many never ate black eyed peas before. And many never had been to a rodeo before. In fact, they were cheering for the calves!

Don and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves Saturday night at the dance hall. Thanks for a good time there. We hope we can come back and see ya'll again sometime. Believe me, we will tell everyone we know about your place and what a good time we had there.

Thanks once again for a wonderful stay.

Hello,

during our holidays, from France to Texas last April, we've spent 3 days at Twin Elm.

We've had a wonderful stay and wanted to thank you for your hospitality. And our 5-year old son, Julian, too, for he knows now that cowboys exist : they live at Twin Elm !! We have a picture of him standing with Terry, and that's something he's so proud of.

We're glad we have had the chance to see that side of Texas, and I wanted to thank you for that.

"My husband and I had never visited a guest ranch. We had no idea what to expect. We thought bugs, horse smell and dirt. When we arrived at Twin Elm our fears quickly vanished. Terry and Karen the Ranch Hosts were very polite, friendly and seemed to enjoy everyone’s company. The wranglers and staff interacted with the guests more than “work” time. This added to the family feel of the ranch. When my husband and I were leaving it felt like we were leaving friends and family. We truly enjoyed our experience and will be telling our friends and family of the Twin Elm Guest Ranch. It is the perfect place to visit, if you are looking to go back to the basics and enjoy peace, quiet and nature. I felt like I was on my own time and was free to do what I wanted. This would not be the case if I had booked a less expensive trip with a packed full itinerary. Twin Elm is a perfect example of what a “get away vacation” really is. Now that I have visited the ranch, the cost of the trip is well worth it. I can not wait to go back. I came home feeling more rested than I have in a long time."
